iTunes 7.3 is a digital media reproduction tool that can be used to organize, share and buy songs, movies, TV shows, podcasts and audiobooks, giving users the option of synchronizing files with an iPod. iTunes users have access to iTunes Store in order to purchase the latest music hits and movies.
In addition to its known features, like integration with iLife Suite ’05, a great new feature included in this version is the integration with iPhone, also from Apple Inc., which allows users to synchronize their iPhone with the PC’s media files.
With this tool, users can create playlists with a number of songs or other media files, whose properties can also be edited to show the corresponding tags. This version allows the users to burn CDs or DVDs, synchronize music with graph effects while songs are being played, and encode music into different formats of audio.
iTunes provides the opportunity to listen a number of online radio stations when connected to the Internet. Also, users connected to a local network can share songs, allowing the rest of the network users play the media files without the need of copying them to their local drives.
