iTunes 6.0 is a digital media reproduction tool that can be used to organize, share and buy songs, movies, TV shows, podcasts and audiobooks giving users the option of synchronizing them with an iPod. iTunes users have access to iTunes Store in order to purchase the latest music hits and movies. A great new feature of iTunes 6.0 is the integration with iLife Suite ’05 which allows users to create photos, movies, DVDs to song tracks and relate them for quick find.
With this tool, users can create playlists with a number of songs or other media files, whose properties can also be edited to show the corresponding tags. In addition, iTunes can synchronize music with graphical effects while songs are being played, and encode music into different formats of audio.
iTunes gives the opportunity to listen to a number of online radio stations when connected to the Internet. Also, users connected to a local network can share songs, allowing the rest of the network users play the media files without the need of copying them to their local drives.
